Asana Syllabus for Yoga Competition

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

  1. Any Healthcare worker who works in the Tricity (Chandigarh, Mohali & Panchkula) can participate.
  2. In case of any recent surgery, trauma, or any severe medical condition should not Participate.

GUIDELINES FOR PARTICIPANTS?

  1. The costume of the participant should be comfortable preferably only leggings and a T-shirt.
  2. In compulsory asana, you must hold for 20 seconds, whereas advance asana, requires 10 seconds.
  3. While performing asana, there should be no tension or stress visible on the face.
  4. Your body should become stable after going into the final posture.
  5. You have to perform any 5 Asanas out of 8 in Compulsory asana and choose any one asana in Advanced asana.
  6. If you fall after going to the Final Posture, you will get one more chance to perform your asana and if you still fall then you will get zero marks in that Asana.
  7. Each Asana Scored 10 marks.
  8. The Participant’s facial expressions, costumes, how you present your asana, and stability will all be countable.
